Hours and Funding
At Broadfield Primary Academy our children either attend 15 hours per week (Option 1 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday am) or (Option 2 Wednesday pm, Thursday or Friday) or 30 hours per week (Option 3).
Option 1 - 2 ½ days (15 hours)
Monday & Tuesday 9:00am - 3:05pm
Wednesday 9:00am - 12:00pm
Option 2 - 2 ½ days (15 hours)
Wednesday 12:00pm - 3:05pm
Thursday & Friday 9:00am - 3:05pm
Option 3 - 5 days (30 hours)
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:05pm
We are also offering a brekfast club (8:05am) and early drop off (8:30am) for an additional charge. These need to be booked in advance.
Breakfast club from 8:05am: £6 (includes a small breakfast)
Early drop off from 8:30am: £3
Funding
All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for up to 15 hours of free early education and childcare per week. This funding is automatically available to all children from the term after they turn 3. Additionally, working families can qualify for an extra 15 hours of free childcare, bringing the total to 30 hours per week.
If a place is offered you will be asked to provide your National Insurance Number (for both 15 and 30 hours funding).
If claiming for 30 hours funding, you will need to provide us with your eligibility code which you can obtain from the Government Gateway website.
